To enter paycheck dates into your Maxwell portal, click People > Eligibility Groups > Edit

Set up Paycheck Dates

Set up paycheck dates for each eligibility group. Enter paycheck dates for the entire plan year. This includes dates that are in the past. For example, if the plan year is 1/1/17 - 12/31/17, and you're entering paycheck dates on 6/1/17, enter all dates from 1/1/17 -12/31/17.




If your payroll period is...
You'll be asked to enter...
Weekly
The day of the week your paychecks go out
  • When you click Generate, it will populate 52 paycheck date fields starting on the date of the next "day of the week" you entered. These can be manually edited once they are generated.
  • For example, if today is Tuesday 2/3, and you select Monday as your "Day of Week", paycheck dates will start on Monday, 2/9.

Bi-weekly

The day of the week your paychecks go out, and the date this should start on
  • The "Start on" date options you see will be the two next dates of the day of the week you entered. 
  • When you click Generate, it will populate 26 paycheck date fields starting on the "Start on" date indicated, and alternating every other week. 
  • These can be manually edited once they are generated.

Semi-Monthly
The first pay day of the month and the second pay day of the month
  • When you click Generate, it will populate 24 paycheck dates, starting at the closest pay day indicated. These can be manually edited once they are generated.
  • For example, if you indicate that pay days are the 1st and the 15th of the month, and today is January 29th, the first pay day populated will be 2/1.*

Monthly
The day of the month your paychecks go out
  • When you click Generate, it will populate 12 paycheck dates starting on the closest date based on the "Pay Day" indicated. These can be manually edited once they are generated. 
  • For example, if you indicate your pay day is the 15th, and today is January 13th, the first paycheck date populated would be 1/15.*


Important note if editing existing paycheck dates: To edit an existing set of paycheck dates, you'll need to click Paycheck Dates Generator and generate paycheck dates again. Please be sure to take a screenshot or take note of the existing paycheck dates you already have entered, if you want to re-add them after generating a new set.




Set Up Paycheck Dates by Submitting to Maxwell


Follow these steps:

  1. Download the "Paycheck Dates" template by clicking here.
  2. Enter the paycheck dates for each eligibility group into the "Paycheck Dates" template.
    • Enter paycheck dates for the entire plan year. This includes dates that are in the past. For example, if the plan year is 1/1/17 - 12/31/17, and you're entering paycheck dates on 6/1/17, enter all dates from 1/1/17 -12/31/17.
  3. Save the "Paycheck Dates" template to your desktop.
  4. Email support@maxwellhealth.com with the completed "Paycheck Dates" attached. We'll get those paycheck dates added for you within a few business days.
