Maxwell Health has an ADP Workforce Now compatible payroll report that will provide an import file employers can use to load their benefit deduction information into their ADP Workforce Now payroll system. A pre-formatted ADP Workforce Now deduction report can be downloaded from Maxwell Health at any time. It can then be uploaded to ADP Workforce Now as needed.


Once you’ve indicated that ADP Workforce Now is your preferred payroll vendor, and you’ve provided us with all of the required information, we’ll add this compatible payroll report to your Maxwell Health portal.


The steps for setting up the compatible payroll report vary slightly based on the deployment status of your company’s Maxwell Health portal. If your company is currently live on the Maxwell Health platform, and/or the implementation checklist has already been finalized, please see the steps listed under part A below. If your company hasn’t started implementation, and/or the implementation checklist hasn’t been finalized, please see the steps listed under part B below.


Please note that setting up the compatible payroll report follows a separate timeline than your Maxwell Health portal implementation, but setting up your report won’t delay your portal from going live. It just means that your compatible payroll report may go live after your portal does.


A. Your company is currently live on the Maxwell Health platform, and/or the implementation checklist has already been finalized.

  1. Your advisor will notify their Maxwell Health Account Manager that you’d like to add the ADP Workforce Now compatible payroll report to your portal.

  2. We’ll ask you to fill out a specific checklist with information on your ADP Workforce Now Company Number, each employee’s File Number, and product deduction codes.

  3. Once we’ve received the completed specific implementation checklist, we’ll configure and add this report to your portal. This step will take us 4 business days from the time completed information is received.

  4. You’ll be notified once Step 3 is complete, and your ADP Workforce Now compatible payroll report is available. You can then generate and download the report as needed.


B. Your company hasn’t started implementation on the Maxwell Health platform, and/or the implementation checklist hasn’t been finalized.

  1. You or your advisor will indicate on the Group Onboarding Form that an ADP Workforce Now compatible payroll report has been requested.​

  • Did your advisor already submit the Group Onboarding Form without indicating your interest in the report? In that case, they should reach out to their Maxwell Health Account Manager to request an implementation checklist specific to the ADP Workforce Now compatible payroll report.​

  • Your company’s implementation checklist will include an additional tab for the ADP Workforce Now compatible payroll report. When you fill out the implementation checklist, you’ll also need to fill out the information on this tab, which includes your ADP Workforce Now Company Number, each employee’s File Number, and product deduction codes.

  • Once you’ve finalized the implementation checklist, we’ll begin the implementation process for your company’s Maxwell Health portal.

  • We’ll notify you once we’ve completed building your company’s portal, and your advisor has reviewed and signed off on its accuracy. This step will take us 4 business days.

  • You’ll be notified once Step 4 is complete, and your ADP Workforce Now compatible payroll report is available. You can then generate and download the report as needed.
