In order to best serve you, our advocate will have access to your plan details and any pertinent information regarding your Maxwell membership (anything you've shared with your advisor about conditions or health of you and your family members).
Your advocate will not have access to your medical records or other personal health information, unless you give that permission as part of your interaction (if you need claims assistance, have questions about providers, etc.) The Healthcare Information Portability and Accountability Act requires you give express authorization to a third party who wants to help on your behalf. Those authorizations can be for the third party to talk to your provider, and/or to your carrier. Usually these authorizations last for a year, as long as you fill them out one time.
